We had a lovely 3 night stay at this site, and had a great time. It's ideal for visiting London as there are ample buses not too far away - only 5 to 10 minutes' walk. We changed at Brixton for central London. Despite being very close to the big Crystal Palace mast it's a green and leafy site, and the site is well maintained. As others have written, the shower/toilet block isn't modern but it's extremely clean and well-serviced, which is all that matters. When we were there, new site wardens had just arrived, but they were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this site.
