Very handy for Inverness.

Very handy for Inverness as Bus Stop outside of site gate.Toilets and facilities up to usual very good Caravan Club Standards.Felt hosts could have been more engaging.

Really enjoyed this site

We stopped here just one night on our tour of Scotland. We found the wardens very friendly and the site lovely and clean and the toilet block was spotless. The motorhome service point is one of the best we have seen. Will definitely use again if in the area.

Good for Inverness

We stayed here for two nights during our two week tour of Scotland. As other members have said the site is sloping & you will need a couple of sets of levelling blocks & pitches on lower part of site will suffer road noise. Motor van service point was out of order - looked new but not that well situated as you have to back into it on a bit of a bend in the site road. Good welcome from warden. Bus stop just down the road with frequent buses to the moor visitor centre & on into Inverness.

Good standard CC site

MSVP was out of action for a few days but the wardens made sensible alternative plans. Site is on a slight slope so most pitches require levelling blocks for motor caravans. Information point is the best I can recall in 26 years of membership; the shed even includes pen and paper for making notes as well as wall to wall information on what to do. Site was more noisy than I expected but we were pitched on the one exit road and within hearing distance of the external highway. It is not a significant issue. Inverness is truly geared up for the international tourist of all ages. There is a bus from the site but check the timetable because there are several hours during the day when buses do not run. It's a mile and a half walk on safe paths to the Battlefield which is worth a visit with its relatively new Visitor Centre. A great base for venturing into the Highlands and Black Isle but the site lacked the pixie dust to make it extraordinarily good.

Well situated

Satisfactory site biggest problem lack of any level pitches and the awkward road on site the facilities good and clean the new site ready to open will give some competition

First timers to the caravan club

This was our first visit to a club site as we are new to this way of life. Facilities and staff all fantastic. Beautiful area and fantastic walks for the dogs. We will definitely be back

A wonderful start and end to our North Coast 500 trip

This site is the perfect stopover (would love to have stayed longer) for exploring the north coast of Scotland.  We stayed here last Friday nt and then the Sunday nt before.   The staff were all super friendly and the facilities spotless.  We were lucky with the weather and was able to sit outside listening to the birds and relaxing. Fizz loved the dog walk around the forest (not everyone it seemed picked up their dog poo :-( but the forest is open to the public).

Good for a Fleeting visit

We stayed here overnight on a tour of Scotland after visiting the great glen. The site was quiet, the facilities were clean and warm and the wardens friendly, just right for a restful night. The dog walk is brilliant, beautiful woodland with lots of paths which was also good for a restful night for the dog! A good site.

Welcoming site

Visited this site as a starting point for the North Coast 500 tour. Unfortunately there was an issue with the motorhome service point at the top of the site, you could dispose of water there but not fill up. You then had to fill up in a normal service area, further down the site, which meant reversing into a pitch to turn the van round. No haste for us but the poor people in the adjacent pitch must have had the peace, well and truly shattered. The site obviously had issues with pitches, as a few were blocked off. Still we had a lovely view over the hills. The dogs had a great time in the forest, accessed from a gate on site. The site is central for Culloden Moor visitors centre and Inverness. Not forgetting Chanonry point, for your dolphin watching. Great facilities, shame about the temporary pitch/service point closures. Well done too, to the trainee warden, who was really helpful

Excellent Site

Extremely good nice site.  Very clean and tidy, showers hot and modern, lovely. Wardens very helpful and friendly.  Ideally located near a bus stop which takes you straight into to Inverness.
