Contentment

I was head marshal for a Highland Centre Rally, arriving on the 3rd December 2015. Having met the wardens before we recieved our usual warm cheery welcome form Jill & Geoff Forest. the theme of the rally was Christmas, how nice to see the entrance decorated for Christmas. Jill opened our rally dressed a Santa, a 1st for the Highland Centre and to the delight of the ralliers. Jill & Geoff even cooked our Turkey for our Three course Christmas Dinner. The 11 members caravaners enjoyed our stay, even though the weather was terrible. bit of flooding Saturday but all drained away by the Sunday for the vans leaving. East Grinstead should be pround of these two wardens the site & toilet block immaculate. Thank you Jill & Geoff

Should have stayed longer!

Stayed only one night sadly, perfect base for visiting the charming city of Inverness and the wider area, but still managed to visit the famous battlefield just a mile or so down the road, you can still visit the site without paying 11 pound to go into the museum. Plenty of walking around the area, a regular bus service to Inverness 6 miles away, lovely wardens on duty who made us very welcome, will visit again next year.

Perfect Highland Base

Fantastic location, well kept, with very friendly staff. The dog walk is one of the best, with a forest adjacent to and accessable from the site. The newly refurbished toilet block was as expected a pleasure to use. The directions to the site as printed in the handbook were incorrect, not great, and not uncommon, the proof reader needs to up their game. Unfortunately the site still has no internet, and mobile signal is also very poor.

Helpful staff

Staff very good, we stopped in August, mobile phone reception for the internet was non existent and the site doesn't do wi-fi so this could be a problem for some.

Great Site

Stayed here for two nights during half term. Well impressed with the cleanliness of the toilet block and this sites location outside Inverness. Some people have complained about the new traffic system but we had no problem with this.

Happy caravaners

Just spent few days at Culloden Moor Caravan Site , this site is very handy for Inverness with bus stop nearby. Wardens are very friendly and helpful.TV reception was excellent. Shower block clean and warm. New one way traffic system in operation.
