Beautiful

First time here and what a relaxing and peaceful place this is. The pitches are deceiving as their not level, but once the rain comes you can understand why so leveling blocks needed!!! There is a sharp turn on to the higher numbered pitches, which is tight with a twin axle caravan but it's fine. Shower block is a little tried but hey, your only using the shower, and was clean and tidy. We used the washing up station which was always clean and tidy, Washing umm £5.00 for a wash and spin, I think that is a little expensive and the £1.00 per 15 minutes for drying, so this can be expensive. Dog walking is in the woods, but if your dog likes a run, you have no chance, unless you go to the beach. For us personally a dog washing area is needed as when you come from the beach or woods your dog does need a wash down. Linda & Keith were very accommodating and helpful nothing too much trouble, there are lovely flowers at the entrance of the site and dotted all over when you drive around. Nairn beach and harbour is about a 15 minute drive away, all free parking and the beach is breathtaking and clean, dogs are allowed on. Inverness is were you'll fine Asda, Tescos and Aldi for your food shop, Loch Ness is half an hour away but this is a peddled beach with a dog friendly pub Dores Inn. Fantastic food and a nice pint. Culloden Battlefield field is 10 mins away and worth the visit £11.00 if you want to go and have a look inside. However the gift shops and cafe and the site its self is free and dogs are allowed around the grounds. This site is great for site sightseeing and a base for the 500 coastline of the highlands. Would we return ???? Yes is the answer.
