ok site

This doesn't feel like a caravan club site and we have visited many. The pitches are not as well kept with lots of weeds, the layout is bad, both for driving round and walking. People have made their own cut throughs to the toilet blocks which go through other people's pitches, they are well trodden paths but there should be something done to make it easier to access rather than just following the road round. Having said that the welcome we received was good, the dog walk straight into the forest excellent and the facilities ok although there was always a smell of damp/mould in the showers. There is loads to do in the area - we visited Fort George where we saw dolphins, Fort Augustus, which is at the bottom of Loch Ness, where we watched the boats going through the Lochs and plenty of good walking. The retail parks close by are handy for the big Tescos and plenty of eating places.
