Just come back from a 1 week stay at this site - definately wouldn't recommend nor will I be going back.  The site is lovely don't get me wrong, with lots of great facilities and excellently kept toilet and shower block, however..........on site are a lot of seasonal pitch holders and boy do they think they own the place (well the ones we experienced did anyway!) they constantly huffed, puffed, tutted and generally moaned about everything from the direction the wind was blowing BBQ smoke, to where a dog chooses to pee, to people chatting in their own awning at a reasonable hour!  I have never experienced or witnessed such pedantic people in all my life. I feel so sorry for the Wardens with what they have to put up with and endure, they even had one idiot moaning about the length of the grass around his pitch for pity's sake!  The site is located next to an active Military training base, folk were moaning about noise levels of other caravaners but the army firing thousands of rounds of bullets until gone 10pm in the evening didn't bother them - madness!

Wouldn't recommend the fish & chip van that comes on site either, not proper chips they are serving frozen fries, the fish and sausage are tiny and the batter was sloppy  

Finally, the area is lovely and the nearby beach is huge and very clean. There's not much going on in Dymchurch considering it's a seaside town only a few pubs, shops and arcades. Food outlets in Dynchurch were grim too everything was dry and overlooked. There's a fab small Indian restaurant opposite Aldi which is well worth a visit - excellent food.  There's lots of things to do around the area, but compared with other places we've visited I thought the prices were very expensive.  I chatted with Warden on our departure and told them about our experience and I wish them all the best because from what I understand my issues raised are regularly repeated by other guests too.
