We have just spent three nights at Daleacres. The weather was chilly and rainy so we probably didn't see it at its best. The site is clean and orderly and the warm toilet block and hot showers were great. The welcome was friendly but the lady was rather surprised when I said that we wouldn't be going back there. The main problem was the isolated location on a narrow road. OK for caravanners but Motorhomers need transport such as bikes,a little car etc unless they like long walks. We have a motor scooter to get around but riding down to the pub after dark was quite scary. The road does not have any white lines or cats' eyes so it was difficult to see the road. If you want to use public transport it is a very long walk to the bus stop.  The pub, Botolphs Bridge, was excellent with a very warm welcome and delicious food. If you have transport and like peace and quiet this is the site for you but not for us.
