Just visited this site for 14 nights. We would definitely recommend it! It is very peaceful. The wardens, Brian and Sue are very friendly, always willing to stop and have a chat and recommend places they are familiar with for visiting. We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary and they even gave us a card and chocolates! It is very convenient for visiting many of the lesser known lakes, and you even have red squirrels!
