Terrific site.
Some people would say it's a bit off the beaten track, I say all the better for it. I was out all day cycling or walking around the hills, footpaths and Ennerdale water. I loved how quiet the site was in the evening and enjoyed the gurgling and babbling of the little stream next to my pitch. Listening to the tawny Owls as I settled down for the night was a delight. The staff keep this site in an unbelievably high standard of maintenance and organisation, I couldn't fault anything.
