Stayed here for 3 nights before heading further north. Very pleasant site with friendly wardens who keep it spotless. Just a shame about the road noise. The dog walk is not very big but if you go out of the site and turn right at the top of the road there is a walk that takes you down to the river and on to Durham itself. A map is available from reception. The site seems to be used mainly as a stopover with plenty of daily movement. Despite the noise we would stay here again.
