This was our first visit to this site which is only a short journey of 24 miles from home.We had a hardstanding pitch with awning. The road noise as previously mentioned is minimal and did not bother us at all, barely noticable. The park and ride which is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the site is NOT available on Sundays as we found out to our dissapointment. Taxi fare into Durham was £9.00 one way. The facilities that were available to us at the time because of Covid restrictions were well kept , clean and tidy. We will return at some point in the future.
