This was my first visit to Durham Grange. I found the site easy to find,  level and we'll laid out with clean warm facilities. A park and ride sevice into Durham is only moments away with plenty free parking. For the more energetic among us there is a pleasant 3 mile walk along the river to the city centre,  however the early stages of this walk can be a a little muddy following wet weather. The only down side to this site is the proximity to the A1. Traffic noise can be heard through the night, but that said after a few nights you can get used to it.
