What a great site! Lovely walk down through the woods & along the river into Durham, about 3 miles.
Alternatively park @ the Park & Ride 5mins drive away & catch the Bus £2 return. 20min drive to the most fabulous Living History Beamish Museum. Well worth a visit or 2, as the entry price is valid for 12mths. Lovely clean facilities, hot showers, very welcome after a busy day.
Arrival time is STRICTLY NOT BEFORE 1pm.
