We ( family of 3) visited for 3 nights in February. Site itself was a typical site. Fairly tidy. Half the site was closed off, assuming because of low season. Family also tried to book, but was told was fully booked. Unfortunately this was not the case as there were around 4/5 empty pitches each night we were there. Children’s park looked good my 9 year old said, but unfortunately this was also closed (much to his disappointment). Aircraft noise didn’t bother us at all. To be expected when you are on the flight path. Local vicinity was ok, noticed the homeless people wandering, but were not bothered really. Used the local bus service into town. This was easy to use. Would probably come again if in Edinburgh again. A little bit expensive to stay. But this is the trend for all sites now I think.
