We stayed with our motorhome over the start of the Fringe. The hard standing pitches with awning were a good size and level. The location was good for accessing the city with a short walk to a number of local busses (27, 8 and 37 the most useful). The site also runs a minibus service to Edinburgh however we didn’t use this. An alternative walk along the shore to Cramond was enjoyable too. The site is below the airport flight path so plane noise was noticeable. We soon got used to it however. The facilities were a little tired and limited for the site when full. The daily cleaning schedule dictated the best time to access them. There are no hot food options on site so it might benefit from a visiting takeaway van, if possible. Overall we would stay there again.
