What a beautiful site the wardens keep this site in tip top condition and are very welcoming. There are no facilities and no play grounds for children this not a criticism as this is why we chose this site for its tranquil surroundings. And it’s beautiful morning chorus of bird song We had a serviced pitch but the waste and emptying facilities are well situated around the site. The area is fantastic for quiet walks and RSPB Geltsdale Is a short drive and a lovely walk in the hills and a definite is RSPB Mearsehead in Dumfries & Galloway which is absolutely stunning if you like deserted beaches. The lakes and tourist attractions are in easy reach.
