We returned to Exebridge to stay for the bank holiday, we know this site well having been regular visitors for many years and are aware that the grass pitches are not available unless the hardstandings are filled due to planning regulations. Luckily we timed our arrival well and arrived just after the final hardstanding was taken so were able to take our pick of the grass pitches. In Summer we prefer to be on grass and the pitches at Exebridge are very well maintained. The site looks exceptional this year, the site managers Gail and Mark work hard to maintain standards and go above and beyond to help and take care of visitors. The facilities were spotless, the hedges have been tidied and the height is now great for enjoying the views over the local countryside. It would be good if the planning regulations could be challenged to enable members to have a choice of hardstanding or grass pitches during the summer season. Exebridge Lakeside is our favourite site and we look forward to returning again soon.
