Fabulous as Always

This is a favourite site of ours and we absolutely love it here. The showers and toilets are spotless. The pitches are level and well maintained and during my last stay at Easter We could not fault the friendliness of the wardens. I needed to see a Doctor and the wardens not only gave me the information I needed but also lent me their phone to make the call as I had no mobile phone signal.   Yes there is no mobile phone signal (Vodafone) which frankly doesn't bother us in fact it's refreshing to have some peace and quiet. Wifi was good. There are a few fully serviced pitches however we found our favourite pitch was a standard with awning on pitch number 20 as it has a small grassed area behind, close to dog walk and ideal for washing rotary line or a chair in the sunshine. You can hear the trickling of the stream behind. A small site probably more suited to Adults or older families as no play area, however there is a play park just a short walk away. Dulverton centre is on the doorstep just a five minute walk to pubs, tea rooms, chemist, co-op, wonderful butchers, fish and chip shop and the best Thai Restaurant I've been in for ages.  The site has a wonderful dog area and there are some fantastic walks with stunning views direct from the site.  If you haven't been yet I strongly recommend you try this lovely site in the heart of Exmoor.
