Oh peace at last

This is a quiet woodland site. Wardens greet you as friends. Varied pitches for all. A real gem! There are plenty of places to visit along this wonderful coast, see the info on the site web site and I think you will agree. We visited when the bluebells were in full display - all around the site. There is a Beefeater pub a few miles away but another pub within walking distance through the wood. Both offering good food. The approach road is narrow and perhaps a bit scary for beginners (although this site was one of our first, a few years ago). Tip: leave well before 12.00 noon and arrive soon after, then the road is usually OK. DO NOT USE SAT NAV - follow the site instructions!!!    Not so good for children as there is little for them apart from running around.
