I was rather worried after reading other reviews of this site but we had an excellent week in our caravan. Yes there are some very noisy birds in a copse close to some of the pitches but our pitch 102 was large and well away from the trees and with a lovely view over the rails across the course. From our pitch bird noise was definitely not a problem. As this is a racecourse the pitches are very varied and I would recommend calling the office and talking to them about your preferences before you book. The staff in the office were very friendly, you can buy milk etc from them and have your papers delivered. Although the toilet and shower blocks are rather old they were clean and not a problem for us. It is a pleasant short walk into Fakenham which we found to be a quaint little place. I would recommend the Wisteria tea room and we also enjoyed an evening in the old fashioned cinema. The real strength of the site is how well placed it is for seeing the North Norfolk coast. We had a wonderful time exploring kings Lyn, Sandringham, Blickling, Sherringham, Cromer and numerous other places.
