This site is perfectly placed for anyone exploring the Norfolk coast as it's only around 20 miles to the likes of Cromer. You have to bear in mind this is a racecourse and accept as thus. We had a hardstanding pitch right in front of the grandstand and it was excellent. Loads of room to ourselves. The facilities are a bit basic but perfectly adequate, cleaned every morning and loads of hot water. No kids playground obviously, but a grass area set aside as a play field. Dog owners like us have loads of space for the pooch to run around if you move out of the main area to what would be a car park during race days. Office closed when we arrived but welcomed by a very helpful chap who kindly fetched our welcome pack and asked to come back when the office opened. Very trusting. Not everyone's cup of tea but perfectly acceptable and probably somewhere between a full CC site and a CL. We'd be happy to use again if need be.
