Good for families

Too many dogs.

This is a lovely site but too many dogs. We had to pitch near the childrens play area and EVERY morning we had to watch the dogs going to the toilet just outside our motorhome on a grass area whilst we were eating our breakfast. Not a pleasant sight. The owners couldn't be bothered to take them to the dog walk which was just a few yards further on. It has to be time for the caravan and motorhome club to restrict the number of the dogs you can take. On the plus side, the site is well situated for lovely walks along the coast and access to lovely beaches. We will return but next time we will try to select a pitch actually overlooking the dog walk so that we don't have to witness the dogs going to the toilet whilst eating our breakfast.

Obviously you brought the matter to the attention of the wardens. Did they act or are you taking the matter up with head office?

Btw, why did you have to watch?🤔

Tinwheeler.  I was asked by the Caravan Club to submit a review on my stay at this club site. I think that the best way to make my views known was to do as they asked. I assume the wardens and Head Office will now be aware of the problem or are you telling me I have wasted my time submitting the review. By doing it this way, I believe it gets to a wider audience. I didn't have to watch. I probably used the wrong word. I should have said I was aware of it happening. It was difficult not to be, as it was right by the window where we were having our breakfast. Either way it wasn't very pleasant.

Asked to complete a review - would that he the standard email? I’d like to think your assumptions are correct but I very much doubt it.

The best way to bring something to the attention of the club is to contact them directly.

The best way to get a problem addressed in the first instance is to discuss the issue with the warden at the time it happens. There’s little he/she can do after the event.

Thanks very much for your advice Tinwheeler. I hope it doesn't happen again, but if it does I will do as you say.

If there are any "problems"on sites the first place may be a word with the "problem" if that is not possible? then always make contact with the site staff, as a review is only likely to be read by others before any one from HO
