A very disappointing end to 3 weeks in Galloway in our van. We were pitched in the walled garden. (Vacant pitches on the main site were being reserved for large vans) One end of the van was a few feet away from a 10 ft wall. The other end 6 yards from 20ft high vegetation with the roadway in between. The site information mentions quiet and seclusion. This was not the case! Dog walkers from the main site used it as an area to walk their dogs, passing within a few feet of our van.When we tried to sit out by the van we were subjected to loud music and non stop dog barking from the houses over the wall. On the positive side we did enjoy coastal walks and a very pleasant meal in the Harbour Inn. We used our own facilities and cannot comment on those on the site
