I booked this site as a stopover for my son and I. He was flying from Gatwick Airport the following morning. The site is extremely convenient for this purpose. Yes, it is a bit noisy when the aircraft are taking off and landing, but this stops overnight. We were seriously delayed by hold-ups on the roads. Bless our motorway system and the M25 in particular. The warden called me on my mobile to see where we were; we were still more than fifty miles away and stuck in traffic. She was very understanding and told me to ring the bell when we arrived. I did and the wardens came to book us in and gave us a convenient pitch. I cannot praise them highly enough. They even advised me on an alternative route back up north, via the Dartford Crossing. Probably saved me a few hours and a fortune in diesel. They are a credit to the club. The site itself was immaculate. The facilities spotlessly clean. Despite the noise, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
