Peaceful & Welcoming

We have stayed here quite a few times over the last 15 months, its a lovely quiet site, even when full. Fish & Chips delivered on a Friday & Saturday evening is ever so handy. Toilet blocks are always spotless and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Access to the Gower is great. We don't live that far away from the site and could go further afield, but there really is no need. Nat & Chris Gould

Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Paul and Ann are first class and can't fault them in any way. The site is professionally run, very friendly and welcoming :)

A good site, but location is indifferent.

Stayed 3 nights Aug 15 - Motorhome. The Site itself is nice with nothing to criticise.  But Gowerton itself is rather gloomy, and the nearest pub The Welcome to Gower, would not win any awards - below par really. However by foot or bike there are some good trails nearby ..... The old Railway line goes all the way to Llower Sketty and the Mumbles beach ..... A good healthy bike ride or long walk. The North Coast of Gower needs good weather to enjoy. The B4295 was very busy & you need to cycle on the Wales Coast Path as much as possible. We reached Llanrhidian & the friendly Dolphin pub before the chill headwind defeated us. To get to Rhossili you need a car. The buses seem very infrequent. Overall impression.... Glad we tried it but would try elsewhere next time.

Midweek break

Quite a busy site and small. The pitches were a good size but pot luck if they were hard standing or grass. Dog walk was quite muddy with no gate at the entrance could have done with dog shower facilities. Site close to a train track which wasn't too noisy. Central location to town but need a car to get to the nice beaches. Cleanliness of the site was excellent.

Hardings summer break 2015

Our stay at this site was very nice, it was very clean and the guy on his lawn mower kept the grass in all areas nice and short. You could pick your own pitch which they all were very level. Even the bins are emptied daily, the dog walk was lovely through a little wood you might need your wellies if its been raining. There is a one way system and a speed limit so children are safe to play in the little park you have go in using a electronic key to open a barrier and to get out also on the key ring is a gate key which leads to the local Tesco and garage just a short walk away, there is even a regular bus service to and from Swansea just up the road. There is plenty of space between caravans and the showers are great loads of hot water, we will definitely go back to this site and would recommend it to any one.

Love it

Fantastic sight to visit the Gower, near to everything you need. Helpful wardens great internet and tv reception if you need it. Clean and what you would expect from CC sight. Will definitely visit again. Beautiful beaches and the city all within 30 mins or less. A little gem.

Fabulous

This is a fabulous site that we have visited on a number of occasions. The site and facilities are kept in outstanding condition and maintained by a wonderful team of wardens. We phoned to change our booking last minute to try and arrive a day early due to some wild weather approaching. The wardens couldn't have been more helpful, offering to keep an eye out for us up until 8pm at night. We were lucky and arrived early managing to grab the last hard-standing. The site is in an area that makes it easy to reach the local supermarkets if needed or to travel further to the most gorgeous beaches. Access to the site is a little nerve wracking, through a rather tight bridge but we had no problems at all. We've been twice already this year and will be visiting again. Our two boys love the playing field next door and have made many a friend for scootering around the site. Our only complaint would be for a few extra showers. Busy times can result in a long wait.
