Dog friendly site but not the town! May 2015

This site has three parts. A residential area at the back and just in front of it a second part which is on the hill (pitches are hardstanding and fairly level) with great views (weather permitting!) but the toilet block up here is poor and needs refurbishing. The heater is a blown air one above the door and thats it, which isn't much good on cold days. The third part is lower down on the flat with a very nice modern toilet block but not such great views! Nice touch in that they give you a Freeview box to plug into your tv if you don't have satellite. The site is about a 10minute walk from the town which had a Coop, a butchers and two bakeries. There are two hotels a bistro and two tea/coffee rooms. Only the hotels allowed dogs in but the choice of food was limited in one and none in the other. None of the other establishments allowed dogs which was very disappointing. There are as you would expect some great walks all around the site and from the town and with the River Spey at the south end this is a lovely spot. But, would I come back here? To the site yes but not the town.
