Take your ear plugs!

Positives first - clean, tidy site. Negatives:  health and safety first. When you arrive you are shown to your pre allocated pitch by the warden who travels on a motor scooter, no safety clothing or helmet.  First thought - if they have no concern for their own safety have they any concern for the safety of their customers?  Pitch - we booked a super serviced pitch (gold pitch according to owners), and having opted for serviced pitch never took the waste container.  Drain for the waste was in the back corner of the pitch, raised around 6 to 8 inches above ground level.  Water does not rise to that level on its own so if you don't raise you waste pipe after you drain your sink water will simply back up into your caravan.  I had to use a storage box to hold the waste water.  And I paid £30 per night for this standard!  Noise - wow, this is the nosiest site I have ever been on.  I have no problem with kids playing and the associated noise that goes with kids, but from dawn until after dusk hordes of them shout, scream and bawl as they try and demolish the equipment in the adventure play park. I do not exaggerate, it was truly awful.  You then have droves of them racing round the road network on scooters and mountain bikes, whilst the majority of drivers totally ignore the speed limit and drive way above a safe speed when there are kids - and adults around.  I am not sure why the Caravan Club are associated with this site as there is no member discount.   All in all a nice well maintained site, expensive, and one we will not be going back to.
