Good for families

Bland and uninspiring

A warm welcome from the wardens and very helpful. We found the pitches close together and the site very uninspiring - not a reflection of other club sites we’ve stayed on. There was very little greenery or trees. The facilities were excellent! If you go for the racing or other event this site is ideal but it wasn’t for us. If we visit Yarmouth again we will choose another site & travel in. If you have dogs you will need to get off the site before you could comfortably allow your dog to toilet - everywhere was in front of/behind someone’s pitch - not ideal. The beach is over a road bridge & (for me) a comfortable 10 min walk. Sand dunes right off the road then leading to a lovely, almost empty beach. Just outside the site is a bus stop - buses every 30 mins while we were there. Overall great facilities as usual, wardens lovely marred (IMO) by a characterless vista. Sorry but I just say it as it is.

Just goes to show were all different 😉, we like this site with or without our grand dog. Dogs should not be permitted to toilet on ANY site unless there is a dedicated dog walk! Great access as you say, less than 10 mins for me, to the dunes and freedom for a dog to have a really good run, and of course the dog friendly beach - desperate dogs can be toileted on roadway  outside the site.

Pitches are close together but I dont think any worse than club sites.. facilities are great. Easy access to buses and lovely flat walk/cycle along the prom.

Granted theres a lack of greenery, last year when we visited the racetrack was green but the pitches were  desert-like due to lack of rain and it being sandy and free draining. I wouldn't expect trees it's in the middle of a race course 😉
