A lovely site, a friendly if rather old-Caravan Club-style directive welcome by the Man With The Clipboard. Told on arrival that the toilet block was shut. My prior ignorance of this was MY fault apparently as I did not read my emails or look at the foot of the Hawes entry in the CC site prior to arrival. Well, I was on another CC site and there was no wifi there and I do not rush to read emails while on holiday. A drainage problem, we were told and given a £3/night discount. No sign whatever of work in progress to remedy this over the 4 nights we were there. End of negatives. A lovely site and well situated as other reviewers have said. I will return. When the drains work.
