The staff were helpful and friendly, and the site spotless and well appointed as you would expect. Great showers & toilets although there is only one hand dryer, a small thing but two would avoid the hustle. The location is an easy walk from Hawes village - less than ten minutes - and the village itself has at least four pubs, various restaurants and cafes and a chip shop that’s open every day. Plenty to do around and about including the Wensleydale Creamery (cheese factory and shop), Hardraw Force and plenty of walks or drives. I had 4g phone signal at all times. If you’re in a motorhome or camper van bring big ramps!
