Wonderful Wardens!

We stayed here for 3 nights in early October. The facilities were as spotlessly clean as we have come to expect on Club sites. We had a lovely pitch with the River Ure behind us. After setting up we got directions from the friendly wardens and took a walk to Hardraw Force. It's a fairly short, flat walk across fields. You pay at the cafe behind the closed pub as it's on private land but it's well worth it to see the spectacular high drop. Hawes town is picturesque with a variety of shops. The Wensleydale Creamery is interesting and if you like cheese you can taste before you buy. The town makes much of the Wallace & Gromit connections with amazing knitted sculptures here and there. Unfortunately, the entrance step to our campervan broke. The wardens lent us their caravan one and suggested they could receive an Amazon delivery of a new one for us at the office next day, which they did. They also helped us to amend our booking for our next site on their master system. All assistance was given with a friendly smile. Great ambassadors for the Club. Thank you all for your help. We look forward to our next visit.
