Just returned from spending 14 nights at Haycraft! Fist let me tell you that the site is wonderful and a joy to stay at, but it is not without its faults. Firstly the pitches are nowhere near level, and you will find it very difficult to level the van and to compound the problem some new gravel was laid at the high side of the van while we were out for the day? This might have been because the following day I think the Caravan Club Chairman turned up for a few days in his Vanmaster Caravan! Just like the Queen thinks the world smells of white paint!! Next there was only three showers for each sex and in 14 nights there was only two nights I did not have to wait for a shower. My wife Isobel told me there was one shower not working in the Ladies for the entire two weeks, but had a sign saying temp repair? The pitch we had was on the upper level and we had a massive problem trying to peg out the awning due to the gravel being far too large (inches wide) and removing the pegs was no easier. All in all this is a fantastic site that could be much much better with some more showers and level pitches! and yes I would return!!
