Lovely site and fantastic area

Just returned from a six night stay and wished we had another week. Site small and peaceful and so convenient for Studland, Swanage and all the other beautiful Dorset lacations. Friendly helpful wardens. We had a grass pitch in a very quiet spot of five pitches. The only negative being that there were only three showers, but didn’t mind waiting, being on holiday had plenty of time! It was a shame that newspapers are not delivered to the site, not the wardens fault, but it is so nice just to be able to read the papers over a leisurely breakfast while on holiday. The entrance lane is a bit narrow, and the grass on the verges very high in a June, but by arriving and departing at the correct time should avoid any problems. An added bonus was the steam train stop just about 5 mins stroll down the lane. Wonderful. Discounted tickets available from reception. Loved the area and didn’t see half of what we planned, so will be returning.
