We booked for two nights, and stayed four, which says something.
Nice site helpful wardens, toilets and showers very much up to the Caravan Club standards. Great place for touring what is a fascinating area, lots to do and see, even in February.
You do however need a car or the like as it is out of the town of Wareham, and we didn’t see any buses going by, but there may have been some.
Great walks in Wareham Forest just down the road. There is a gateway from the site into part of the forest, but as to be expected, this was very muddy, so take your wellies.
Studland Bay is excellent and being winter the dog was able to run all over the beach.
Nice big dog walking area, and playground in the corner of the site, plus a big field for youngsters to run round in.
Would we go back? Yes, most certainly.
