Quiet Site with Great Walks

A great two night stay in October, with the trees providing welcome shelter from the blustery autumnal weather, although note that the acorns will drop at all times, turning the average motorhome into a tom-tom - a minor point! The staff were brilliant and there's lots of walks nearby, including a circular walk to Wareham (nice for a bite to eat) and returning via the Sika Trail. Try out the nearby Silent Woman Inn (30 min walk) for a great meal. Mobile signal is poor, so you may end up on the CAMC wi-fi, but at £3.50 per device per day, this is rather expensive and not a great service, you may want to consider an 'off grid' stay, if you can manage without the internet?
