2 nights at Hunters Moon club site (Dorset) the site is small, Quiet, very clean, and well maintained. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely visit this site again. PERFECT. Not great for access to local town but a bus starts coming up to the sites at the end of April - end of season, so this will improve. We parked at Wareham train station and trained into Poole very easy to do and cheap. Also can train to Bournemouth, Weymouth We went to the local pub down the road for food ‘The Silent Women’ but we were not impressed with the size of the meal that was served £12 basket meal they call it, the basket was not very big, I had a burger and few chips in mine and my husband had 3 chicken wings and a few chips (size the same as McDonalds meal!!!) we did approach and mention size and were just to be told the price reflects how much it costs to cook the food and staff the place!!! The lady offered to take it away but not sure what was going to be achieved by doing so, everyone eats different but if you hungry and need to eat a decent amount don’t bother …. I think they are taking advantage of the local hungry holiday makers…. Avoid!!!
