Great base to visit East Dorset and Devon coast.

Enjoyable stay, a small site, well maintained and extremely clean facilities. The location is fantastic to explore the South coast of East Devon and Dorset, it felt a little isolated as nothing was walkable but many places/amenities were only a short drive away. The relief wardens were pleasant and hardworking, the site is small and some of the pitches do appear to be cramped and close together, but there were one or two larger pitches if lucky. One thing I didn’t like was to reach a number of pitches caravan’s had to drive close between other pitches to get the theirs, not ideal. Perhaps the club could consider more hardstandings considering the August rain was causing havoc and small quagmires where the poor warden was constantly rerouting caravans. The site is however just off the A303, a great stop off en route further South West, BUT........the entrance lane is a sharp turn in a 50 mph zone where the other road users do not slow, it can be difficult to get in and out, use caution...... Would visit again. ....
