Excellent Location
I agree with much of what has been said, but I consider the toilet blocks to be excellent. This is not a site with manicured lawns, and flat pitches, but has its own charm. The site is extremely well located for visits to both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, offering very different types of days out.
The wardens were outstanding for their helpful and friendly manner.
