Lovely Site in Woodland Location

Low Park Wood is a magnificent setting for this spacious site by the River Kent not far from the M6. The welcome is as friendly as we expect on Club sites and the wardens are helpful and efficient. It's a large site with various clearings with pitches grouped together. Many of the pitches are sloping and should really be levelled out. There are various walks from the site although in wet weather some tracks can get muddy. It's quiet although there is a little noise from the A591, and you can hear trains on the East Coast Mainline at night. It would be nice if there were a second MWP as you have to drive out of the site and back in to use it. If you like nature this is the site for you. My one major criticism is that the entry road to the site is very narrow and would be a nightmare if two outfits met. Sad to say I've seen many members not obeying the rules about 1 o clock arrival and 12 departure with some turning up after 12. Not a good show.
