We had never been to this site before and the previous reviews totally correct when the potholes on the lane were mentioned and additionally the difficulty in finding the vacant pitches (not wanting tricky manoeuvres in a dead end). The site is set in woodland and many pitches under the canopy of trees, our caravan was filthy after a week's stay as an amazing amount of residue was dripped downwards. The wardens were excellent, the facilities immaculate. The dogs enjoyed the numerous walks from the site. Free range eggs were being sold just over the footbridge and the local farm shop within walking distance was selling very good quality food. The caravan club needs to be alert to competition as there was a small fully serviced caravan site adjacent to the farm shop with easy access straight off the dual carriageway!
