Best site by far

We've been coming to this site for 6 years now, at least 3 to 4 times a year. The wardens have always been friendly and pleasant to talk to. It's a site where you can be on your own or with a group of other campers. Almost all the pitches are relatively flat and level. The Forestry Commission work on this site, mostly during the winter when it's closed. Weve been trying to be there when theres a tour of the gunpowder ruins to hear about its history, but seem to just miss it, we'll get there eventually. If you like ancient woodland, this is the place with lots of dog walks. The only down side here is the road leading to the site is full of potholes, but then I don't think the club owns this stretch. On a separate issue not specific to this site but applies to many of the sites is that many dog owners don't follow the rules about their dogs always being on a lead. As a dog owner whos dog has been attacked by loose dogs in the past it becomes extremely annoying.
