Peaceful and idyllic
A wonderful site in the heart of woodland full of wild flowers and birds. Lots of excellent walks direct from site plus the higher Lakeland fells are not far away. A haven for dogs and their owners.
Located on the edge of the Lake District but so much more peaceful than the honeypot areas of Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick.
The Strickland Arms pub nearby is perfect for an end of walk drink or good meal. Dog friendly.
