One of the best

Stayed for a few nights on tour of Scotland. Really lovely site, immaculate and with the most helpful and friendly (relief) wardens when we were there. The walks from the site are great. The site facilities are first rate. The garage / shop next door is a real boon. The scenery is stunning and the air very fresh !

Fantastic value clean with excellent facilities pub /hotel walking distance away ( Internet available for the cost of a drink ) nature reserve a cycle or short walk away the only down side would be the analog TV  We only stayed the one night as we were touring in a motor home  The adjacent road caused us no problems In fact we didn't hear or see hardly any traffic great site

Excellent Site

Had a lovely 3 night stay at this site recently. The wardens were lovely and friendly, site facilities very clean and tidy. The hard standing pitches are not the most beautiful but with all the rain up there in the Highlands they are necessary. The setting and scenery around the site more than made up for all that gravel. It was wonderful to walk out of the site and up into the hills. My four-legged friend and I loved it!

NOISY

This site is surrounded by some lovely scenery BUT is close to a very busy road, the hard standing is almost like camping in a car park. Not for us at all.

Excellent Site

If you want to be away from it all, this is the place. Beautiful location with friendly and helpful wardens. This is now our third stay. Only down side is the bizarre analogue tv network. If you dont have an analogue capable tv (who does these days) you are goosed, so take some DVDs if you are a TV addict. No wifi not really a problem for our weekend stays although I did manage a 3g signal sometimes. Its a long haul from Glasgow (at least 5 hours maybe longer towing) and even longer from further south. None of this matters once you are there. Although we have always had unusual sunny weather during our stays, this is Wester Ross , so take brollies and waterproofs, essential stuff in this neck of the woods. all in all a 5 star place.

Among the best Caravan Club Sites in the country

Kinlochewe is in our top three Caravan Club sites in the UK. The site itself is peaceful and has stunning views of Beinn Eighe and Slioch, the facilities are always spotless, and the wardens have to be the frendliest and most helpful there are. The only downside to the site is that there is no WiFi, whch is disappointing as we pay yearly to use the CC WiFi network. Good food and beer can be had at the Kinlochewe Hotel, although it pays to book if you're staying in the busier months of the year.

Lovely site

We stayed two nights at this lovely site. The lay out is great - set out in small areas, all with easy access to facilities and all stone hardstandings. This we found really useful since there had been so much rain and a number of places we stayed tended towards the "soggy". With two border collies dog walking areas are important, and on the advice of the wardens we took a left out of the campsite to the SNH Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve walk (about 50 yards along the road) which has a hard surface walk. Perfect! The Whistle Stop Cafe is just along the road and as well as fabulous evening meals has a great selection of the most delicious home baked scones and cakes. We will happily return to this site.

have just enjoyed the hospitality of this little gem that we stayed an extra night, friendly staff, spotlessly clean and midges didn`t seem to mind us either. Well done Kinlochewe

Fabulous site

Amazing site surrounded by mountains. Very friendly and helpful, wardens. Rocks edging the driveways a bit risky! And midges a pain, literally. Avon spray didn't work. Plug in mosquito catcher produced many bodies each morning despite being vigilant with mosquito nets. My partner was bitten badly and antihistamine cream etc no help. Best remedy for itching was 1 percent hydrocortisone cream bought over the counter. On the positive and it was a very positive stay early July, lovely walks and a very quiet site.  Local butcher van comes twice a week. Not cheap but the best lamb steaks ever. Butcher also supplies Wild Cat Cafe turn right out of site. Wonderful steaks. Need to book at weekends though. Friendliest wardens from the 8 sites we visited during a month in Scotland. And they posted detailed weather forecasts up each day.

5 Nights in June

This site is approx 500yds further along the road than the sat nav says! If you follow sat nav you end up in cul-de-sac! Not sign posted well for the site. The staff are very friendly and the facilities as you would expect from a Caravan Club Site. Scenery is impressive from the site and the surrounding areas. Be aware of the large white painted rocks along the roads on the site I don't think they will be very forgiving if you hit them! Also ensure you have your midge sprays with you! you will need them. My wife had over 50 bites and took a long time to eventually clear them out of the caravan. Also no internet and minimal TV signals via lead connection.
