Peaceful and intimate, Kinlochewe Club Campsite is set at the foot of the rugged slopes of Beinn Eighe, at the end of a beautiful drive along Glen Docherty from Achnasheen. Great site

Kinlochewe Club Campsite
Lovely friendly greeting on arrival. Our 2nd visit to this lovely site. First in June 2018 and now in Sep 2024. It has lovely pitches, all gravel and well spaced out with trees/hedges creating small 'pockets' The toilets etc are superb. Hubby said the disabled facilities were excellent. Garage and small shop next door for basic supplies if required.Previously explored Beinn Eighe reserve and various places nearby. However this visit we were doing a west coast trip and Kinlochewe served our purpose beautifully. Poolewe and Inverewe Gardens are about an hours drive north. The museum at Gairloch is fabulous. Torridon, Shieldaig and Lochcarron are not far either. Theres loads of walking around the are though we are sadly no longer able to do much.

Great views.

Kinlochewe Club Campsite

A well maintained site located next to Beinn Eighe nature reserve. Lots of walks from the door and well marked trails. The site is all gravel for pitches but there are lots of trees and greenery to soften the view. Good toilet/shower block. Separate building houses a drying room and a laundry room, very useful. Small shop/garage with some supplies and coffee area next door. Another village shop has limited supplies available. There is a Pizza place around the corner but it was closed the week we were there. Reasonable tv reception with plug in aerial to bollard. Good phone reception O2 and EE. Choose your own pitch. There is a selection of different areas, some offer Mountain views. Site was never more than half full when we were there so was very quiet and spacious. We’ve been a few times and would return with our caravan.

Peace and Tranquility

Kinlochewe Club Campsite
We visited Kinlochewe as part of a larger tour around north of Scotland….Ian and Julie go above and beyond helping out and keeping the site lovely for all despite there needing to be some obvious upgrading to the toilet block although it was immaculately clean…., they’re a credit to the CMC. Very helpful with pointing out local amenities too and welcoming on arrival. We have a campervan so are very transient but for those with a caravan, a great site to base yourself and do day trips out. Easy access and entry with any size of vehicle or caravan. Great little shop/petrol station/cafe next door. Peaceful stay. Great views to Ben Eighe.

Brilliant site to base yourself.

Kinlochewe Club Campsite
I stayed here as part of my NC500 anti-clockwise trip. Booking in was so easy and quick.Fabulous views all around. Clear blue sky the mountains really did look good. I dropped the caravan off. And following morning I left at dawn to to the Torridon, Sheildaig , Fearnmore Applecross Pass and the famous Bealach Na Ba. So if you want to base yourself at this site it’s perfect to explore the area with great walks from the site. I would definitely recommend this site.

Wow, what a beautiful site!

Kinlochewe Club Campsite
This was our first big trip (2 weeks on the NC500) in our new (to us) VW and looking and booking around different sites we had no idea what to expect. Ian gave us a very warm welcome on arrival, he was able to situate us near to the toilet blocks as it was still early in the season and still quite quiet - our stay was on 20th April 2024 for one night. The site was absolutely beautiful, so quiet and very peaceful. We couldn't believe the views of the surrounding mountains, and I'll go as far as to say the photo's on here don't do it justice! Ian advised us on a few easy local walks that took us through trees and gave us even better views of the mountains. Turning in off the very quiet road that led up to the site, there was absolutely no noise heard by either myself or my Husband during our stop over. A fab little petrol station and shop is right next to the camp, it closes about 17:00 and not open on Sundays if you are touring and arrive late. It serves hot breakfast and food (my Husband was gutted we missed it as it was closed on Sunday the next day). All facilities onsite were very clean and kept warm. As said in other reviews it's really clear the Club staff take pride in the site as it's beautifully maintained. We can't wait to go back to this site, beautiful area and outstanding site.
