For two of the four days we were on site, there was no adequate hot water in the shower block because the boilers had failed. Otherwise, I'd give the site 5 stars. Site is easy to find, on good roads. Layout is a bit drab despite presence of silver birches. It is all hard standing and flat. The views up to Benn Nighe are stunning. It is a paradise for twitchers, walkers and photographers. There are several scenic drives for those who want to wander further. MSVP is within a large open space and has a grid over the drain rather than a heavy cover. Local cafe on the Torridon road [within easy walking distance] is good but a little pricey. Supermarkets are miles away but there is a fuel station and shop. Avoid the midge season.
