Great as Always...

This has to one of our favourite sites and indee this was our 6th visit, and little has changed in all these years. The site is well laid out, with generous pitch sizes and ease of access to all areas. The toilets are still immaculate, thyanks to the wardens, but are starting to show their age a little. Looking a little tired now. The wardens are some of the friendliest we've ever come across and indeed helped me out of a very tricky spot for which I'm exceedingly grateful. The walks around this site are great and a walk along the canal (only 5 minutes away) is a must. Good little kid's play area in among the trees so very safe. If you're a dog owner, you're spoilt for choice. A good dog walk just outside the site, a walk up to the castle (mind the sheep) or down to the canal to let them run. Excellent. Chirk has everything you're likely to need but if you want some heavy retail terapy, the local train station is only 10 minute walk away and you can get a train right into Chester. Nice to see that some of the site is being left to grow a bit wilder but tyat means lots of rabbits. Still. they're fun to watch.  Definitely a site to be returned to once again in the not too distant future.
