This is one of our favourite sites and as always we loved being there. If I was being picky I would say that the flow from the shower was pretty poor at busy times and there is a dire need for a more powerful hairdryer. We visited Chirk castle and thoroughly enjoyed looking round the rooms there. We also visited Erddig but it was a hot day so couldn't leave the dog in the motorhome, even for a short time. We travelled down very narrow roads to get there and had to reverse the motorhome several times. Obviously we were not allowed into the stately home with a dog so we walked in areas where dogs were allowed but in all honesty the walks round Chirk are probably better. The cheapest diesel we found is still at Sainsbury's in Wrexham.
