This was an over night stop for us after spending time in Scotland and whilst it is not the easilest are to get to it was a superb site when we arrived. We were late arriving but the Warden made us very welcome and directed us to our pitch. She fully explained the layout and gave us instructions which were very comprehensive. Clearly the owners are Caravaners and the Toilets were amazing with small rooms nothing less than En Sute facilities. We had a good walk around the site and spoke to several caravaners staying there all of who expressed the same opinion as us, what a wonderful site. The area is not a normal hoilday area and we are not sure what we would have done had we stayed longer but we understand that it is easy to access Carlisle by Bus. If in the area we would certainaly stay again and would recommend the site to others
