Could do better
Overall a very pleasant overnight stop but a few things could have been better with a little effort
When we arrived as normal we were asked to go and choose a pitch and return to the office, the site has a one way system so you can’t drive all the way round without exiting via the magnetic card controlled barriers but they don’t give you a pass to allow that so your stuck at the exit barriers.
The electric points have an unusual connection where you need to twist the connection, I’m sure this may be used on other sites so if you are familiar with this system then fine but it would be useful for it to be commented on when we checked in.
We asked at reception if there was a set route route to cycle to the sea avoiding the busy road and were told no just “follow your nose straight down’ in fact there is even a page on the site web page that shows a far more user friendly route.
The club leaflet recommends the Six Bells however at 4 pm on Sunday it was closed there is another pub the locomotive just as close which we found to be quite acceptable
