Our welcome to Longleat was - as has been mentioned earlier - not especially enthusiastic. I suspect too, that the site team were particularly challenged here by some of the behaviour witnessed here. Lots of kids - and very young kids - using bikes and scooters - seemingly unsupervised. And the use of the toilet block, on my one visit, poor. I think perhaps just two hooks are insufficient. Maybe a separate hook for the use of the toilet, where the toilets are on one side of the facilities and the showers on the other? While I waited to go in (because there were two bands) quite a few visitors went in and out, to use the toilet. The location is good for walking with (or without) a dog - beautiful countryside. We stayed just long enough to visit the safari park. Yes, you need to book ahead and online but this is just something we need to get used to, when visiting attractions these days.
